The picture shows the shape of the end.
This is a new , standard steel, brake inner cable. The cable is made from several small strands of galvanized wire wrapped around each other just like most other brake cable that you have seen. They are not in a factory package because we buy them in bulk.
This is the inner cable only and does not include the outside housing. This brake inner cable has a ball type end like the end shown in the picture. It is for the kind of levers that are on most road bicycles.
It will NOT fit the kind of levers that are on most ATB, MTN, and BMX bicycles.
The Factory says it is 67" long.
Please look at the end in the picture and see if it looks like the cable end on your old brake cable. You will need to cut the cable to the length that you need. The outside housing is NOT included.
A cable end tip to put on the cut end of the inner cable is NOT included because it is not included at the factory. You can buy end tips in another of my ads. An end tip is not necessary but it makes the end of the inner cable look neater.
